This non-interventionist, organically grown bottling hails from the appellation of Irpinia in the region of Campania on Italy's southern boot and is comprised of 100% Aglianico. Zesty, charming, and completely effortless to drink, this is a natty, funky, glou-glou rendition of Aglianico that features juicy blackberry, black plum, amarena cherry and savory black olive notes set against a firm core of fresh acidity. This was aged for nine months in chestnut barrels.
