Carta da FitaPreta
This lively, energetic, organically grown Portuguese bottling was made by Antonio Macanita, a cutting-edge, renegade winemaker who has shaken up Portugal's winemaking scene with his visionary approach to winemaking at FitaPreta, which is located in the region of Alentejo. Comprised of 50% Aragonez (AKA Tempranillo), 30% Touriga Nacional and 20% Alicante Bouschet, this is vivid, elegant and lacy, with lifted acidity and gorgeous notes of fresh violets, hibiscus tea, black currant, pomegranate, and bing cherry. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, this fabulous bottling was aged in a combination of stainless steel and neutral oak for 10 months.
