Field Recordings Tang Piquette $32.00
Field Recordings Tang Piquette
This salty, mineral, citrusy Piquette from California's Central Coast is comprised of 50% Chenin Blanc, 30% Pinot Gris and 20% Albarino sourced from organic vineyard sites in Paso Robles. Lightly sparkling and very cider-like in style, this Piquette is a sort of "wine tea" made by steeping pressed grape skins and rehydrating them with water, yielding a crisp, refreshing, low-alcohol quaff teeming with clementine, pomelo and bartlett pear flavors and a fine, spritzy prickle due to remaining native yeasts and natural sugars released from the dried grape skins.
