Chiaretto is the specific name for Rosé that's grown in the Bardolino region of the Veneto, in northern Italy. This fabulous, certified organic example was made by female winemaker Matilde Poggi and shows that racy acidity and finely etched minerality that has come to characterize this particular category of Rosé. Comprised of 80% Corvina and 20% Rondinella, which are also the grapes used in Amarone, this is vibrant and mouth-watering with raspberry, strawberry, apricot and lemon flavors filling out the crisp palate.
