Michelini i Mufatto En El Camino Bierzo $26.50
Michelini i Mufatto En El Camino Bierzo

The Michelini family, who are natives of Argentina and have several esteemed winery projects there, established a second property in the Spanish region of Bierzo, where they produce fabulous, old-vines, organically farmed wines from the region's indigenous grapes at Toral de Merayo, a two hundred-year-old building in the mountains. This meaty, savory bottling is comprised of 90% Mencia and 10% Palomino, Doña Blanca, and Alicante Bouschet and delivers lush black fruit and crushed graphite notes wrapped in velvety tannins. This was aged for 10 months in clay amphorae.
