This fine Blanc de Blancs from the 2014 vintage is a blend of Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc from this sister ran Sekthaus, producing arguably the best sparkling wines in Germany. A small portion was aged in wooden barrels spending over 90 months on the lees, adding to its charming character. This velvety, restrained, and elegant sparkling wine boasts remarkable complexity, making it a delightful and invigorating experience on the palate, with a particularly long finish. The 2014 vintage was an exciting one, yielding equally captivating sparkling wines. The Blanc de Blancs exhibits enticing aromas of fruits such as quince, grapefruit, and nectarine, complemented by nutty notes reminiscent of freshly baked bread. Absolutely delicious as an aperitif or an accompaniment for the main meal!
