700 Refers to the height in meters above sea level of the vineyard sites in Chile's Maipo Valley where this very impressive wine was grown. Comprised of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Syrah, 2% Carignan and 2% Cabernet Franc, this is lush, but not overly dense, showing velvety tannins, zesty acidity, and varietal notes of cassis, blackberry, graphite and spicebox. This wine was fermented with wild yeasts and spent 15 months in third and fourth use French oak.
