This certified organic Pet-Nat or Petillant Naturel is made of 70% Xarel-lo and 30% Muscat fermented in clay amphorae on native yeasts, and hails from Navarra, Spain. Pet-Nat is made by bottling partially-fermented wine and trapping the natural CO2 that is caused by the fermentation. This floral, tropical and very exotic bottling was macerated on its skins prior to fermentation, attributing a brilliant orange hue to the finished wine. Expect lots of fragrant mango, coconut and pineapple flavors on this utterly delicious find from Spain.
