Forlorn Hope Queen of the Sierra $28.75
Forlorn Hope Queen of the Sierra

This organically grown field blend of mostly Trousseau with small amounts of Zinfandel, Mondeuse, Barbera and Grenache hails from Calaveras County in the Sierra Foothills AVA in northern California. Made by winemaker Matthew Rorick using native yeasts, this is a fun, eclectic example of California's new wave. You'll see a bright, poppy mouthful here full of red currant and sour cherry notes.
