Bosco del Merlo Pinot Grigio Tudajo
$29.25
This standout example of Italian Pinot Grigio is certified sustainable and was grown organically in the Veneto appellation of northern Italy. Showing a ton of aromatic character for a variety that is often neutral and uneventful, this bottling opens with lovely notes of acacia flowers and moves into a silky, mineral-driven palate showing intense white peach and bartlett pear fruit and a hint of baking spice on the finish. The wine's name "Tudajo" refers to a mythical prince who was transfigured into the Dolomite Mountains near the vineyards.
