Bouchaud Muscadet Pont Caffino $26.50
Bouchaud Muscadet Pont Caffino
Domaine Bouchaud is located in St. Fiacre-sur-Maine, one of the villages in the Muscadet Sevre et Maine appellation of France's Loire Valley. Pierre-Luc Buchaud's family has been growing grapes in this region since 1850, and he now practices organic, minimal intervention agriculture. His Pont Caffino bottling was grown on granite soils, yielding a crisp, citrusy expression of the Melon de Bourgogne grape with chiseled minerality and bright pineapple, pear and green apple aromatics.
