This wild berry-scented, certified organic southern Italian bottling is made of 100% Aglianico from the volcanic appellation of Basilicata near Mount Vulture. Female winemaker Elena Fucci has taken a decidedly fresh and modern approach to this variety, turning out a vivacious, juicy, acid-driven wine that is stylistically very different from its more traditional counterparts. Brought up in stainless steel with minimal intervention, this is pure, complex and super delicious.
