This certified organic Tuscan bottling hails from the very historic region of Carmignano, which is one of the smallest and oldest appellations in the world. The wine's name Barco Reale refers to the large park and hunting reserve that the Medici family owned in the Carmignano hills. A blend of 75% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, this is bright, lifted and very floral with gorgeous notes of violets, sour cherry and red currant fruit. Light and vivid, with a grippy tannic frame.
