This fascinating wine is made of the very hard to find indigenous grape Aleatico, also known as Vernaccia Rossa, which grows in the tiny appellation of Pergola in the Marche region of Italy. Teeming with rose petal and hibiscus notes on the nose, and tangy pomegranate, raspberry and red cherry flavors on the palate, this is an amazing discovery, and perfect for fans of lively, floral Pinot Noir. This was grown organically and brought up in stainless steel and concrete.
