The Wehlener Sonnenuhr is one of the most famous Crus in the Mosel region coming from one of the most iconic and historic white wine producers in the world. With the vineyard’s south/southwest orientation, the deep slate soils and a steepness of up to 70% virtually predestined for the cultivation of the Riesling grape. The wines from this site have an excellent structure, fine minerality and an immense length and depth with a fresh stony reductive citrus-laced character. Fantastic to drink young and fresh or to put away in your cellar for the next 30+ years.
