Konigschaffhausen Blanc de Noirs $29.25
Konigschaffhausen Blanc de Noirs

This very unique bottling from the region of Baden in Germany is a "Blanc de Noirs" made of Pinot Noir, meaning it's a white wine made of a red grape. The skins are immediately removed during the fermentation process, so that no skin maceration happens, leaving the juice a pale shade of white. Grown sustainably on volcanic soils in the renowned Kaiserstuhl region of South Baden, this is elegant and plush in style, with intriguing notes of white peach, pineapple and jasmine flowers.
