This super elegant, organically farmed Chardonnay bottling hails from the northern Italian appellation of Friuli and can easily masquerade as white Burgundy. Made by Meroi, a small family-run producer with a cult following, this is ample and broad, with great viscosity on the palate and luscious notes of meyer lemon, gala apple, bosc pear and vanilla bean. This lovely bottling spent 11 months in neutral barrique.
