Paltrinieri Piria Lambrusco di Sorbara $28.75
This coral-hued, bone-dry Lambrusco hails from the Italian appellation of Emilia-Romagna, near the town of Modena famous for its balsamic vinegar. Unlike other red Lambruscos you may have tried, this unusual bottling is a Rosato, made with a blend of 70% Lambrusco di Sorbara and 30% Lambrusco Salamino. Savory and elegant, this is gorgeous and substantial on the palate, with mouth-watering notes of wild strawberry, watermelon and lemon zest.
