Skinner Native Red $28.75
Skinner was founded in 1861, making it one of the first wineries established in California during the Gold Rush. Their incredibly vivacious Native Red bottling is a delicious tribute to the history of their vineyards planted in the region of El Dorado in the Sierra Foothills, and is a co-fermentation of Mission, Petite Bouschet, Trousseau, Carignan, Zinfandel, Grenache, Cunoise, Cinsault, Mourvedre, Marsanne and Viognier. Crystalline, lacy and super aromatic, this is light bodied but very intense and exudes gorgeous notes of raspberry, sour cherry, cranberry, orange zest, and rose petal.
