Son of A Son Aglianico $24.75
This sprightly, super fresh bottling was grown organically in the Templeton Gap district of Paso Robles in California's Central Coast. Comprised of 100% Aglianico, this is a fabulous example of the Cal-Ital movement that's taken hold in recent years, with California winemakers experimenting with classic Italian grape varieties. This bottling is juicy, elegant and much lighter in body than what one would typically expect from Aglianico, with deep red cherry and raspberry fruit along with alluring notes of licorice and star anise.
