This broad, lush, super elegant bottling is made of dry-farmed Steen AKA Chenin Blanc and hails from Swartland in South Africa. Grown on 40 year old vines, and fermented with indigenous yeasts, this is classic and Old World in style, delivering a velvety palate teeming with salty minerals, white grapefruit, honeysuckle, lemon zest, and a fresh core of mouth-watering acidity. Tania & Vincent Careme are natives of the Loire Valley in France who fell in love with South Africa and its potential to produce world-class Chenin Blanc.
