Flaneur Willamette Valley Chardonnay 2017

Willamette Valley, Oregon

$28.75 / each

Description:

With winemaker Grant Coulter at the helm (he was the head winemaker at the critically acclaimed Beaux Freres for 6 years), it's no surprise that Flaneur is one of the Willamette Valley's rising stars. Their zesty, dry-farmed, organically grown Chardonnay is brighter and lighter in style than what you might find in California, despite its being barrel fermented, and shows lots of crisp gala apple and meyer lemon notes. Given its comparisons to Burgundy, Oregon produces world-class Chardonnay, and this bottling is the perfect evidence.

Botijo Blanco Garnacha Blanca 2017

Valdejalon, Spain

$23.75 / each

Description:

This very expressive Garnacha Blanca hails from the region of Valdejalon, which is located in the province of Zaragoza in central Spain. While some examples of this variety can yield broad, heavy, or flabby wines, this bottling is entirely different. Lean and racy, this wine displays tons of gorgeous white peach and white nectarine fruit backed by salty, savory minerality.
