Description:

Pecorino is one of Italy's great indigenous white grape varieties, not to be confused with the salty sheep's milk cheese of the same name. This elegant, super energetic example hails from the region of Le Marche in central Italy and displays a fragrant outpour of gardenia, chamomile, pomelo and crushed sea salt notes. Tenuta Spinelli is undoubtedly one of the most lauded benchmark producers of Pecorino.

Tenuta Lenzini Il Salvataggio 2016

Tuscany, Italy

$23.75 / each

Description:

This certified organic and biodynamic bottling is made of 100% Merlot and hails from Colline Lucchesi near the Tuscan town of Lucca. Rich, dense, and mouth-filling, with distinctive notes of crushed rocks and succulent black cherry fruit, this bottling reads much more like a Super Tuscan than what most people associate with "Merlot." Fabulous texture and dusty tannins add an extra dimension of complexity and intrigue to this very unique wine.

Virna Borgogno Dolcetto D'Alba 2018

Piemonte, Italy

$23.75 / each

Description:

Suave and full of finesse, this excellent Dolcetto from the Barolo region in Piemonte, Italy shows just how sophisticated and complex Dolcetto can be. This is a fresh, vivid wine, yielding fragrant notes of sour cherry, raspberry and red plum fruit set against velvety tannins and zesty acidity. This bottling is quite grippy for a Dolcetto and would definitely benefit from a quick decant prior to drinking.
