This brawny, velvety, certified organic bottling is comprised of 80% Tannat and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and hails from the appellation of Madiran in southwest France, which is the spiritual birthplace of the Tannat grape. Grown on 60 year old vines, this wine shows incredible density, concentration of fruit and freshness and boasts a grippy, deep purple palate displaying luscious blueberry, blackberry and cassis fruit. This wine was aged for 12 months in large old foudres.

Dusty tannins and deep black cherry fruit are offset by rustic leather notes and a whiff of sea salt which comes from this vineyard's proximity to the coast. This was brought up in stainless steel and displays a fabulous freshness and sense of purity.
