Domaine Migot Cotes de Toul Pinot Noir 2015

Cotes de Toul, Lorraine, France

$27.99 / each

Description:

This crystalline, incredibly pure Pinot hails from the appellation of Cotes de Toul in Lorraine, a tiny region in northeastern France which often gets overlooked since most of the wine produced there gets consumed locally. Light and sprightly with amazing depth and lacy minerality, this is most definitely a hidden gem of a wine. Full of dainty rose petal and fresh raspberry aromas, this was grown organically, fermented with wild yeasts and reads like great red Burgundy.

Jimenez-Landi Sotorrondero 2014

Mentrida, Spain

$27.99 / each

Description:

This vivid, cherry-scented blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah hails from the obscure appellation of Mentrida, which is nestled in the foothills of Sierra de Gredos, just west of Madrid. Grown organically and fermented with wild yeasts, this is super elegant and bright on the palate, and shows a sassy, high-toned expression of Grenache not typically seen in Spain. Subtle notes of fresh pine and rosemary add an intriguing layer of complexity to this very unique wine which spent 10 months in neutral barrel.
