This skin-contact Vidiano hails from the island of Crete in Greece and was made by the Alexakis brothers, who source their fruit from high elevation vineyards that date back to the Bronze Age. Farmed sustainably, this is a fabulous expression of the indigenous Cretan variety Vidiano, which spent 1 month macerating on its skins, yielding a clean, floral, fragrant amber wine redolent of kumquat, tangerine and orange blossom honey.
