Alpha Estate is situated at a very high altitude in the appellation of Florina, which is on the Amyndeon plateau in northwestern Greece. Their sustainably farmed Axia blend brings together 50% Xinomavro with 50% Syrah, yielding a rich, spicy, satiny wine teeming with mulberry, blackberry and Chinese five-spice notes. This spent 12 months in French oak and another 12 months in bottle before release.
