This elegant, velvety, single vineyard Vinho Verde from the Minho in Portugal is comprised of 60% Arinto and 40% Loureiro and was farmed sustainably on granite and schist soils. Opening with vivid mineral aromas of flint and crushed slate, this is bright and clean with fresh lemon zest, pomelo and sea salt flavors, set against a firm backbone of acidity. This is much more substantial in weight and concentration than many examples of Vinho Verde you'll see which are slightly spritzy and lighter in body.
