Dodekatos Twelfth Xinomavro Blanc de Noirs

This fascinating Greek Blanc de Noirs is a dry white wine made of the indigenous red grape Xinomavro. Farmed sustainably in the appellation of Florina in Macedonia, this was fermented with wild yeasts, aged in neutral oak on the lees, and bottled unfiltered. Opening with notes of wild brush on the nose, this moves into a delicious and totally unique palate featuring sugar snap peas, fennel, pineapple, tarragon and sea salt. Made by Ioannis Hatzis of Hatzis winery.
