This lush, delicate and very elegant bottling is made of 100% Furmint grown organically in Burgenland, Austria, right near the Hungarian border where Furmint is famously grown. Aged for 10 months in acacia barrels on the lees, this is broad and creamy in the mouth, with gorgeous notes of white peach, fuji apple and chamomile flowers. Female winemaker Heidi Schrock is a pioneer in her native region of Rust for re-introducing historic varietals from Hungary across the Austrian border and with her twin sons, Johannes and Georg, continuing to champion classic indigenous Austrian grapes.
