Kefallinos Avgoustiatis Natural
$29.99

This fascinating, organically farmed and native yeast fermented bottling is made of the indigenous red grape Avgoustiatis, which is native to the island of Zakynthos, one of the Ionian Islands in Greece. Plush, medium-bodied, and plummy, this recalls northern Rhone Syrah and delivers stewed strawberry and black mission fig fruit, gravelly mineral undertones, and velvety tannins. Just lovely served with a slight chill.
