This savory, gravely blend of Garnacha, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Monastrell, Tempranillo and Merlot was farmed biodynamically and organically in the Costers del Segre appellation of Catalonia, Spain and was fermented with wild yeasts. Medium-bodied with firm tannic structure and vibrant acid, this is fascinating stuff showing complex notes of leather, tar, crushed rocks, sour cherry and red plum flavors. Aged with just a touch of neutral French oak to round out the edges, but not oaky in the slightest.
