This silky, beautifully perfumed, organically farmed Portuguese red blend hails from the Douro Valley and is comprised of 50% Touriga Nacional, 25% Tinta Roriz and 25% Sousao. This laser-focused, black-fruited, super precise bottling was made by Joana Macanita, whose brother, Antonio, is one of Portugal's most impactful rockstar winemakers. Their talents clearly run in the family, as this fantastic effort from Joana is a real head-turner. Native-yeast fermented, aged in stainless steel, and redolent of aged balsamic vinegar and concord grape preserves.
