This very sultry and seductive expression of Dolcetto hails from the tiny village of Diano d'Alba in Piemonte, Italy and was farmed organically by Renzo Castella who is a master of the Dolcetto variety. Savory and earthy with dense layers of blackberry, black cherry and black plum fruit, this is chiseled and structured with a firm mineral backbone and exotic spice notes of clove, black peppercorn and star anise.
