Quite ripe, generous and mouth-filling for Gruner, this excellent bottling from the Kamptal region of Austria was farmed sustainably and hits all the high points that Gruner is so celebrated for: spritzy minerality, spicy white pepper notes, and fresh, clean lines. This example leans a bit more tropical than you might expect, with gorgeous layers of pineapple, pomelo and citrus blossoms.
